Logo readability depends on physical size, contrast and the details within the mark. A design that works on packaging can be too complex for a watch dial. Evaluate it at the intended size before deciding that a full corporate lockup belongs on the watch.
Test at actual size
View or print the proposed artwork at the quoted dimensions. Check whether small letters and narrow gaps remain distinct. A large on-screen preview can hide the problem because the design looks clearer than it will on the finished watch.
Reduce competing details
A symbol or short name may be easier to reproduce than a logo plus slogan, web address and fine border. Decide which elements are essential and ask about process limitations. Any simplified version still needs the artwork owner’s approval.
Review on the selected dial color
Contrast can change between dial finishes and lighting. Ask for the proposed mark on the actual variant and confirm the production method. Treat a mockup as layout evidence, while a physical sample is more useful for assessing the final appearance.
